- Enhance surface consistency and safety for multiple sports and recreational uses
- Improve drainage and reduce weather-related closures or maintenance
- Provide all-weather, low-maintenance fields capable of supporting community athletics
- Expand the park’s capacity for hosting events, leagues, and recreational activities
Our Scope of Work
Site Design & Engineering
We began by assessing existing field conditions, drainage patterns, and soil stability at Lost Mountain Park. A comprehensive design plan was developed to ensure proper grading, stormwater management, and structural base design to support synthetic turf installation for both fields. The design allowed for long-term durability and compatibility with multiple athletic uses.
Site Construction
Construction work included removal of existing turf or grass surfaces, precision grading to establish optimal elevation and drainage, installation of compacted aggregate base layers engineered for subsurface stability, and construction of drainage infrastructure to ensure consistent runoff and surface integrity under heavy use.
Synthetic Turf Installation
Once the basework was complete, high-quality synthetic turf systems were installed on both fields. Installation included:
- Laying monofilament turf engineered for multi-sport performance and durability
- Installing performance infill to provide cushioning, traction, and consistent play surface
- Securing seams and edges to withstand frequent recreational or athletic use
- Final field markings and layout configured to support varied sports and activities
The result is two fully functional, weather-resistant multi-purpose turf fields ready for community use.
